NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Members from the Trinity Baptist Church in Nacogdoches showed their support for local law enforcement Saturday.

Church members made signs and that had messages thanking local law enforcement and supporting the All Lives Matter Movement.

They said they believe law enforcement does so much for the community, yet gets so little praise, so they decided to make a stand.

“We feel that our county is in dire straits and that as Christians we feel like we need to stand out  and stand up for what God gave us," said Wanda Commander, a Trinity Baptist Church member.

The church members said they were encouraged when several law enforcement agents stopped to tell them thank you.
