LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Monday 88 women from across the U.S. gathered right here in East Texas to compete in the 33rd annual La-Di-Da Invitational Golf Tournament. The three day event is named in honor of the Lottie Dean Temple. This is the women's version of the Temple cup.
The event began today with twenty-two four person teams. They started practice rounds at the crown colony country club. It will run until Wednesday with different events each day. The winning team will have their names engraved on the silver La-Di-Da cup.
