SAN ANTONIO, TX (KTRE) -

A Lufkin High School graduate died after he was shot and killed as he left a San Antonio nightclub Wednesday morning, according to a San Antonio news outlet.

FoxSanAntonio.com reports the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man as Ganiyu Odunsi, 26.

According to the story, police say Odunsi was at The Falls near Highway 281 and Bitters Road when an argument broke out.

Police said Odunsi and his friends were looking in the direction of some women when two men became offended. The two groups went to separate areas of the club, but the fight continued when Odunsi tried to leave around 2 a.m., according to the report.

According to the report, witnesses said the two men from earlier drove up and as they continued arguing, someone inside the car pulled out a gun and shot Odunsi in the chest.

Odunsi died at the scene. No arrests have been made.

According to previous KTRE reports, Odunsi was a track star for Lufkin High and went on to run track in college at Sam Houston State.
