NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Lamp-Lite Players in Nacogdoches begins the 45th season with the final chapter of the Verdeen cousins Texas Trilogy.
This southern-fried comedy is titled, "Guacamole Queens." It's about a frantic attempt to pull off the ultimate high school reunion before the old building is demolished.
The antics of Verdeen cousins, Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie, will keep the audience laughing.
"It's a funny show for everybody," said Director Sarah McMullan. "It takes place in East Texas. They're having a high school reunion and meanwhile there's fracking in town and lots of things are disappearing, including buildings, so this is a real funny, funny broad comedy, slapstick show that I think everybody will enjoy."
Guacamole Queens is in its last weekend. Curtain calls are Friday and Saturday nights and a Sunday matinee. Ticket information is available here.
