Joint drug raid by Sabine Co. law enforcement results in 1 arrest, seizure of meth, guns, cash

SABINE COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Sabine County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers, and Texas Parks & Wildlife game wardens joined forces to execute a narcotics search warrant on a home located on FM 944 that resulted in one arrest and the seizure of drugs, guns, cash, and TVs.

According to a press release, Charles Cody Rhodes, of Hemphill, was arrested and charged with second-degree felony possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams.

As a result of the search warrant,, which was executed on Saturday, the Sabine County law enforcement officers seized 13.4 grams of methamphetamine that was allegedly found on Rhodes’ person, $620 in cash, two 12-gauge shotguns, a 52-inch TV and a 32-inch TV used for video surveillance, three glass pipes with meth residue, plastic baggies used for packaging drugs, and a set of digital scales, the press release stated.
