NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - If you're driving by the Nacogdoches Medical Center then you might want to pull up and get a free flu shot.
Starting Wednesday through October 10th the SFA Dewitt School of Nursing will be having a drive-thru flu shot clinic.
The flu shots were donated from the Nacogdoches Medical and Surgery Center.
This year they plan on having around 250 immunizations each day.
"In years past we had one thousand free flu shots to give away and we've gone to the fair but we haven't been able to give them all away," Dr. Della Connor, event organizer, said. "So we've done the drive through shot clinic as a stop gap to make sure we get all of the immunizations to the community."
The drive-thru clinic is open Wednesday through Friday from 4pm to 8pm. On Saturday the clinic is open from 11am to 5pm.
