Vasques Restaurant El Jaripeo at 589 Main Street, Huntington: 11 demerits for ACCHD-certified food manager not on site, food in coolers not labeled with date, knife rack and knives in food prep area, needed to be cleaned, vent hoods needed to be cleaned, and damaged floor tiles needed to be replaced or repaired.

Ruben’s Chicken and Fish at 821 N. Raguet: 3 demerits for ice scoop in back area needed to be replaced, knife rack above three-compartment sink needed to be cleaned, and general clean of vent hood above stoves.
