Kountze man charged in Nacogdoches bank robbery

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches police have released the name of a Kountze man accused of robbing a bank Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect is Robert Lee Kobe, 46.

Kobe is also wanted by the United State Marshal Service for violation of federal parole.

Kobe is accused of taking cash from Texas Bank at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday. He was caught five miles from the San Augustine city limits by a San Augustine police officer.

Nacogdoches police have turned the case over to the FBI.

He is charged with second-degree robbery.
