Three Nacogdoches residents have now been indicted by a federal grand jury accused of being part of a pair of armed bank robberies in East Texas.

18-year-old Christian Wilson was arrested last month shortly after Texas State Bank was robbed in Lufkin. Wilson confessed to being part of a bank robbery in Etoile. He told authorities 44-year-old Rocky and 37-year-old Sheila Self were also involved.

The three have now been charged federally with two counts of armed bank robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

If convicted, they face up to 25 years in federal prison for each bank robbery and twenty five years on the firearms charge.
