LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

There are many issues facing landowners all over East Texas, and many of those are complex.

In order to help, the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension office is teaming up with the Pineywoods Groundwater Conservation District to address those issues.

The landowner event will take place this Friday and will be centered around legal issues.

"We are going to be talking about those bigger issues,” said Cary Sims, the AgriLife extension agent for Angelia County. “The long term legal issues. Estate planning, water rights. Easements that you may have to get across somebody's place or easements that may exist on your property."

Registration for the event has been extended through the end of the day Tuesday, Oct. 20.

The cost is $40 a person or $50 per couple.

The seminar will be on Friday, October 23rd at 9 a.m. You can register by calling 936-568-0414.
