Naranjo Museum transformed into haunted house for Halloween

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Screams can be heard coming from the Naranjo Museum of Natural History in Lufkin.

The museum, usually filled with dinosaur bones and other artifacts, has been transformed into a spooky place where visitor's worst fears come true.

Starting October 23rd, the Naranjo Museum will be taken over by terrifying creatures and ghostly beasts after an experiment gone wrong by Dr. Neal Naranjo, the founder and owner of the museum.

If you dare to check it out --  they'll be spooking East Texans until Halloween on Saturday, October 31 for $7.

You can find more information here.

The Hudson and Zavalla volunteer fire departments are also hosting haunted houses at their fire stations this Halloween weekend -- more details on that here
