TRINITY, TX (KTRE) - It's going to be a "Nightmare on Elm Street" in Trinity Halloween night.
It will be put on with the help of over 30 local businesses. The Halloween event is being put on by the Trinity Police Department.
They'll block Elm Street off and give away, prizes, candy, and host a Halloween costume contest.
The Trick-or-Treat event will go on from 6:30 to 9 p.m..
"This event is going to be safe, fun, and a great time for everyone in the community!" said Chief Steven Jones of the Trinity Police Department.
If weather is severe Saturday night, the event will still go on. It will be moved to the Trinity Community Center.
