Cracker Barrel invites volunteers to honor veterans

Lufkin's Cracker Barrel is inviting volunteers to join them Saturday to honor our veterans and military.  

The store is hoping to plant 2,000 flags at the Garden of Memories Cemetery to show how much they support Lufkin's late veterans.
Volunteers will divide and visit another cemetery afterward.

The general manager said along with giving back, volunteers can look forward to a more rewards.  

"It's a great event to honor our veterans. Us at Cracker Barrel believe in our vets and doing what we can for them.  We're giving away 100 free t-shirts and 100 free meals for our volunteers that come help us that day," said James Lester, General Manager. 

If you're interested in helping out, it's happening,this Saturday starting in the afternoon at 12:30. 
Volunteers are asked to meet at the "Garden of Memories" Memorial Park cemetery.
