NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches County authorities have released the name of the 59-year-old Alto man killed in a tree accident that occurred in the Douglass area Wednesday morning.

Nacogdoches County Sheriff Jason Bridges said the man who died has been identified as Johnny Skinner.

Bridges said the crew was in the process of loading a tree at a location off of County Road 789 when it fell on the man in some kind of accident. The 911 call came in at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Skinner was taken to a Nacogdoches hospital, where he was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, Bridges said.
