NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches police have reported an armed robbery at the Wendy's on North Street.

According to police spokesman Sgt. Greg Sowell, the robbery happened after 7:30 a.m. He said a black man used a handgun and took an unknown amount of cash and left the restaurant in an unknown direction.

Police are still looking for the man, who was last seen wearing gray sweat pants and a black hoodie. He had a cover, possibly a mask or bandana, over his face.

Because the robbery occurred before the restaurant opened, there were no customers inside when it occurred, a press release stated. No injuries were reported.

The case is still under investigation.
