Two East Texans nominated for Mr. Texas High School Football Player of the Week
EAST TEXAS (KTRE) -
Two East Texans are nominated for the Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week.
The two performers are Alto’s Keenen Johnson and Tenaha’s CJ Horn.
Johnson has had several outstanding games to help lead his Yellowjackets in an undefeated season, but the quarterback is being nominated for the honor after the six touchdowns and 373 yards he racked up last week in the 63-14 win over Groveton.
Horn is in the mix for the honor after the quarterback guided his Tigers to a dominant 63-14 win over Colmesneil last week, but not without recording five touchdowns and 345 yards of his own.
