DALLAS, TX - The Dallas Cowboys cut quarterback Brandon Weeden on Tuesday.
Weeden served as the Cowboys starting quarterback after Tony Romo broke his collarbone in Week 2. Weeden went 0-3 during his stint before being the back-up once again, that time to Matt Cassel.
Since leaving the Browns in 2012, Weeden has lost 11 straight starts.
Jason Garrett confirmed in a press conference Monday that Tony Romo will stick to his Wednesday's off routine and will practice Thursday and Friday.
Romo is set to return to the field Sunday against the Dolphins in Miami. The game starts at noon.
