ZAVALLA, TX (KTRE) -

According to the city Water Department, residents in Zavalla are without water this morning.

Amy Cloutier with the city said a leak was detected by the department between the two school campuses.

"Right now are public's work director is out on scene trying to fix the problem," Cloutier said. "I do not know a time frame yet."

Zavalla Police Chief Steve Drumm said the crews are trying to change out the valves. It is believed all citizens are without water, but Cloutier said some residents have said they have a little water pressure. Cloutier said school is out this week so students are not affected.
