Trinity police searching for drugstore burglary suspect

TRINITY, TX (KTRE) -

Trinity Police are looking for suspects involved in a drugstore burglary. 

According to Trinity Police Chief Steven Jones,  a suspect cut a hole in the side of the Life Check drugstore building Monday morning.

Police responded to a call that the drugstore was burglarized at 8 a.m. The believe the burglary happened at some time over the weekend. 

The suspect allegedly stole prescription controlled substance medication.  Jones said the Life Check drugstore employees will be working with Texas Department of State Health which oversees the pharmaceuticals.
