LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An Angelina County judge has ruled a Lufkin murder suspect is now competent to stand trial.
District Judge Paul White made the ruling in court on Monday.
Joshua Ingram, 32, is charged with first-degree murder. He is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Jennifer Ingram, on Feb. 6.
At a hearing in April, White found Ingram mentally incompetent and sent him to a mental health facility where he could be treated until he was ready to stand trial.
Ingram will have a pre-trial hearing in January.
