NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested two East Texas men on meth-related charges Tuesday night after a NCSO patrol deputies spotted a wanted man at a car wash on US Highway 59.
Jason Cole Briley, 20, of Douglass, and Dakota Cheynne Butler, 23, of Nacogdoches, are both still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams charge. Briley was also charged with Class B misdemeanor driving with license invalid with a previous conviction and Class C misdemeanor driving with no insurance.
No bail amount has been set for either man, according to the Nacogdoches County Jail Web site.
After the NCSO deputies made contact with the wanted individual, they placed him under arrest for the outstanding warrants.
A search of the first man led to the discovery of crystal methamphetamine, according to a press release. A search of the man's vehicle resulted in the deputies finding more meth.
After they were arrested at the scene, Briley and Butler were taken to the county jail.
