NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A joint narcotics investigation involving the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office and the Center Police Department resulted in the arrest of a 41-year-old Timpson man who was allegedly selling methamphetamine from a home on Evelyn Street.
Michael Garrett is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance charge. No bail amount has been set at this time.
According to a press release, the Center Police Department received a tip that Garrett was selling meth from a home on Evelyn Street. Working together, both agencies conducted an undercover operation and were able to buy meth from Garrett, the press release stated.
Later that evening, NCSO investigators executed a search warrant on the home. During the search, they found more than 4 grams of meth and a large amount of cash in one of the bedrooms, the press release stated.
Garrett was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
