TRINITY, TX (KTRE) - The 356 Fire Department in Trinity County has kicked off a toy drive for families in need.
There are boxes placed in several businesses around Trinity for people to drop a gift by for a child in need.
The toys will also go to children involved with Child Protective Services.
The fundraiser's coordinator said it's their second time doing the toy drive, and they hope to make it an annual event.
"They feel pretty good, and I know last year, they were all pretty surprised and very grateful. They loved it!," said Tina Hollingsworth.
There are boxes at Trinity Grand Central Station Cafe, Fire House Pizza, Trinity Cafe, and Joseph's Restaurant.
You can also drop off donations at the 356 Fire Department.
The department will take gifts until December 17th.
