NASHVILLE, TN- Tyler native Josh Aubrey was moved from the Tennessee Titans practice squad to their active roster. According to the Titans official website, in order to make room for Aubrey the franchise placed running back Dexter McCluster on injured reserve.
Aubrey originally signed with the Titans during their training camp this year, before he was waived in the final preseason cuts. The safety later re-signed with Tennessee as a practice squad player.
Aubrey is in his third year in the NFL and has made eight game appearances.
Aubrey's professional career started with the Cleveland Browns when he signed as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Aubrey had a short stint with the Seattle Seahawks, then was picked up by the Houston Texans where he played in two games.
The East Texas native was a four-year starter in Nacogdoches and a four-year all-conference selection.
