Nacogdoches PD: 1 arrest made in home-invasion robbery

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department have arrested one of the suspects in an alleged home invasion robbery that occurred at a house in the 2600 block of Lampkin Street early Wednesday morning.

Edwin Jermaine Griffin, 37, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in then Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony aggravated robbery charge. As of 11:30 a.m. Monday morning, no bail amount had been set on Griffin's charge.

According to Nacogdoches Police Department's daily activity report, the robbery occurred at about 5:43 a.m. Wednesday. The complainant told police that unknown suspects forced their way into his home and took items at gunpoint.

There were minor injuries reported, the activity report stated.

Griffin was identified after a lengthy investigation and arrested. The case is still under investigation.
