ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested a 32-year-old Huntington man on Wednesday in connection to allegations that he injured his child's wrist when he snatched a phone from the child.
Timothy Reeves was arrested and charged with assault -family violence - injury to a child, which is a felony. He posted a bail amount of $5,000 and was released from the county jail later Wednesday.
Lt.Stacey Seymore with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office said that Reeves was watching the child while the child's mother was at work when the alleged incident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday. When the child went to call the mother, Reeves allegedly got angry and grabbed the phone from the child, causing the child's wrist to get twisted.
ACSO deputies were notified after the mother took the child to a Lufkin hospital to get checked out.
