POLLOK, TX (KTRE) -

Angelina County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two juveniles, ages 14 and 15, after they allegedly tried to rob a Polk’s Pick-It-Up store on U.S. Highway 69 North at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

According to a post on the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, ACSO deputies were dispatched out to the Polk’s store located at 6925 Highway 69 North in Pollok at about 1:31 a.m. in reference to suspicious-looking people on the business’ premises.

When the ACSO patrol deputies arrived on the scene, they arrested the two teenage boys and charged them with attempted aggravated robbery. Both boys had been armed with handguns, and both of them had been using masks to hide their identity, the Facebook post stated.
