LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Lufkin Police Department is investigating a theft that allegedly occurred when a man went to his ex-girlfriend's home Wednesday morning and stole a Playstation 4 game system, a 50-inch television, and a safe containing money.
According to the Lufkin Police Department's daily activity report, the incident occurred at a house in the 100 block of Wilma Street sometime between 9:40 and 10:07 a.m.
When LPD officers arrived on the scene, a woman told them that she came home and found her ex-boyfriend loading her Playstation 4, 50-inch television, and safe into his SUV, the report stated. After the woman confronted her ex about the thefts, he punched and kicked holes in her walls before he left with the items.
The Lufkin Police Department is investigating the incident as a state-jail felony theft between $2,500 and $30,000 and a misdemeanor criminal mischief between $100 and $750.
In another unrelated incident, a woman told police Wednesday that her ex-boyfriend had called her cell phone 102 times the day before. The man also sent her threatening text messages and threatened to kill her and her whole family.
