HOUSTON, TX (KTRE) - The NBA has suspended Houston Rockets guard Ty Lawson for three games after a DUI incident in July. The arrest was made in California.
The three-game suspension begins Thursday when the Rockets take on the Utah Jazz. The guard will also miss the Pacers game the following Sunday and the Memphis game on Tuesday.
Lawson will not be paid while he serves his suspension. It will cost him approximately $338,304 of his salary.
The 28-year-old served a two-game suspension already for a DUI charge he got in January.
This season Lawson is averaging 6.4 points and 4.3 assists a game.
