COLLEGE STATION, TX- According to the Seattle Times and several over media reports, Scott Woodward will leave his post as the athletic director at Washington and join the Aggies. He will replace former Texas A&M athletic director Eric Hyman.
Woodward began his stint in Washington in 2008.
Woodward will be returning to his SEC roots by joining Texas A&M. The athletic director is a Louisiana native who graduated from LSU.
Texas A&M university president Michael K. Young was involved in the hiring of a new athletic director. Young and Woodward formally worked together at Washington when Young was their president.
