LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A roaming kitchen made a stop to deliver a hot meal at the Salvation Army in Lufkin Thursday afternoon.
Little Caesar's pizza only has two of these. The pizza was made fresh from a kitchen right inside the truck. It travels all around the country, but those who got a bite in Lufkin were grateful for the meal.
The Lufkin franchisee said they are happy to give back to the community every chance they get.
"I'm Glad to be able to eat, and that Little Caesars is such a good company to do this," said Paul Mizler who ate pizza.
"They were very happy inside and grateful to have hot food," said Mark Law. Law is the franchisee for the Little Caesars in Lufkin.
"I was so overjoyed that they would take out the time to minister to the Lufkin community, especially bringing their mobile unit here," said Captain Michelle Moore of the Salvation Army.
