ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Two people accused of kidnapping and robbing an Apple Springs woman on January 7 have been arrested.

According to Trinity County Constable Reggie Olive, Michael Wayne Grimes, 20, and Alice Shianne Horton, approached the woman while she was in her driveway.

Grimes and Horton demanded money from the victim and forced her to take them to a dollar store in Hudson.

While on the way to Hudson, Grimes and Horton changed their mind and made the woman take them to Memorial Hospital in Lufkin.

The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for the two on Friday. Grimes and Horton were arrested near the Nacogdoches County line on Highway 59 North by Angelina County sheriff deputies on Saturday.

Grimes and Horton are being charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
