NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Deep East Texas just keeps coming through for Lone Star Santas effort to provide toys for the children of tornado stricken Rowlett and Garland.

Lone Star Santas latest donation comes from Toys For Tots.

The Nacogdoches branch donated stuffed animals, stocking stuffers, and puzzles. There are enough toys to fill several tall boxes.

"We're picking up 75 stuffed animals, 200 stocking stuffers, 35 toys and 20 puzzles,” said David Stanley, a member of the Lone Star Santas.

"We have done so well in the last few years that we've always had toys left over and I have to put them in storage. I want to get rid of these toys, but I want them to be for people who need them,” Stanley said.

David and Carol Stanley, both members of Lone Star Santas, will deliver them to the North Texas toy drive.

They'll be helping out Toys For Tots in future drives - one non-profit helping out another.
