CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) - The Piney Woods Fine Arts Association announced Wednesday that the organization's Kenny Rogers concert, which had been originally scheduled for Saturday, will be rescheduled because the country music legend is dealing with a minor illness.
According to a statement from Rogers' management, the singer is going to have to postpone the following tour dates: Jan. 28 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jan. 29 in Bossier, Louisiana, and Jan. 30 in Crockett.
"The show will be rescheduled as soon as possible," Rogers' management said in a statement. "Kenny looks forward to seeing his fans on the road shortly."
The press release stated that the Pineywoods Fine Arts Association is working with the country legend's management to secure a new date and will make the announcement as soon as it is confirmed.
Single ticket holders for the Jan 30th show have two options:
- Hold on to your ticket as it will be good for the rescheduled date
- Contact the PWFAA office to request a refund for your ticket
"Piney Woods Fine Arts expresses our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience to our patrons as this is beyond our control," the press release stated. "PWFAA thanks our patrons for their patience and understanding in this matter."
