ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

East Texas is about to get a lot greener thanks to Angelina Beautiful Clean.

On Thursday, the organization will be giving away 20,000 hardwood seedlings in the Lowe's parking lot in Lufkin.

This year ABC partnered with Campbell Global and the local Texas A&M Forest service. Organizers hope that by giving out these seeds people will plant them and restore East Texas.

“The big thing with this is to replenish,” said Maegan Prejean, ABC’s executive director. “A lot of people were affected by either the drought, or fires or both.  A lot of people are building; they have new landscape, and maybe a new office. This is just away to beautify East Texas.”

If you don't want to miss your opportunity to get free hardwood seedlings, the give-a-way starts at 10 a.m. and will end once the last of the seedlings are given out.
