LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

An alleged food-throwing, obscenity-laced temper-tantrum in a Lufkin McDonald's restaurant resulted in a 37-year-old woman getting arrested on a felony meth-related charge late Wednesday night.

Stacy Bluford, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a state-jail felony possession of a controlled substance less than one gram charge and two Class C misdemeanor failure to appear charges. Although no bail amount has been set for her felony charge, her collective bail for the two misdemeanor charges is $1,000.

According to the Lufkin Police Department’s daily activity report, the alleged incident occurred at the McDonald's restaurant located at 1100 South Timberland Drive at about 11:07 p.m. Wednesday. Bluford allegedly threw food at and cursed employees inside the eatery before she left, went to her car, and drove away.

Lufkin PD officers stopped Bluford’s vehicle after she left the scene. She told one of the officers that she had been at McDonald's, and it had been taking them a long time get her food. Bluford also told the officer that she didn’t make a scene as the employees had alleged, the report stated.

When Bluford was arrested on outstanding warrants and searched, two clear, plastic baggies containing a small amount of methamphetamine were found in a pocket of her overalls.

Bluford was then taken to the Angelina County Jail.
