ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Angelina County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested three Arkansas men on felony drug charges after the men were found sleeping in their car at a Polks Pick-It-Up store late Wednesday night.

Kevin Lamont Lewis Jr., 20, Michael Glen Lewis Jr., 22, both of Conway Arkansas, and Bralyn Wadlington, 19, of Little Rock, Arkansas, are all still being held in the Angelina County Jail. Each man was charged with second-degree felony possession of a controlled substance between 200 and 400 grams. No bail amounts have been set at this time.

Capt. Alton Lenderman of the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office said that ACSO deputies got a 911 call about a suspicious-looking vehicle parked at the Polks Pick-It-Up store located at the intersection of the Lufkin Loop and Ford Chapel Road at about 11:40 p.m.

When the deputies went to the store, an employee flagged them down and pointed out the suspicious-looking vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Charger.

The ACSO deputies went to check on the men in the car, and found that all three of them were asleep. Because the car smelled of marijuana, the deputies searched the car and found 286 grams of Xanax alpracoam bars.

The three men were arrested at the scene and taken to the Angelina County Jail.
