Taqueria El 21 at 1422 Douglass Road: 10 demerits for use-by dates needed for meats, hand wash sink area not kept unimpeded, and thermometers not provided for all coolers and freezers.
Ken’s No. 4 at 911 W. Main: 10 demerits for two milk products needed to be discarded, paper towels needed for bathroom, test strips needed, and missing or water-damaged ceiling tiles.

Cici’s Pizza at 3801 North Street, Suite Mo. 19: 8 demerits for several slices needed to be discarded because of improper hot-hold temperature, thermometers not provided for all prep coolers, coolers, and freezers, floor areas not smooth and easily cleanable, and fire exits blocked.

Cotton Patch for 3117 North Street: 7 demerits for three buttermilks and one sharply dented can needed to be discarded, three spatulas needed to be discarded because they weren’t smooth and easily cleanable, ice bags in ice maker, and floor areas that weren’t smooth and easily cleanable needed to be repaired.

Big’s Convenience Store at 540 Northeast Stallings Drive: 7 demerits for three canned food items needed to be discarded, thermometer needed for sandwich cooler, and any damaged shield guards needed to be repaired.

Jalapeno Tree at 637 N. University Drive: 6 demerits for one thermometer needed to be re-calibrated, visible thermometer needed for prep cooler, ice scoop not kept in clean container, and one spatula needed for be replaced because it wasn’t smooth and easily cleanable.

Big’s Convenience Store Deli and Grill at 540 Northeast Stallings Drive: 6 demerits for utensils not kept out of hand wash sink, paper towels needed at hand sink, and ceiling vents and tiles not kept dusted.

Nacburger at 3205 North University Drive, Suite No. O: 4 demerits for one food product needed to be discarded.

Zouki’s Mediterranean Restaurant at 1220 North Street: 4 demerits for use-by dates needed and front door not properly weatherproofed.

Brookshire Bros. Fresh Harvest Deli and Bakery at 1420 North University Drive: 3 demerits for hand wash sink not kept unimpeded.

Papa John’s Pizza at 2702 North Street: 3 demerits for three spatulas needed to be replaced because they weren’t smooth and easily cleanable, dust not kept to a minimum in kitchen, and shield guards needed for light fixture.

Donut Palace at 1511 North University Drive: 3 demerits for utensils not kept out of hand wash sinks.

Peanut Shack at 1122 North University Drive (University Mall): 3 demerits for one spray bottle needed to be re-labeled.

Skate-O-Rama at 1208 Douglass Road: 0 demerits.
