Authorities: Huntington man dealt meth near school

HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) -

Angelina County authorities have arrested a man accused of dealing meth in the area of Huntington Middle School.

According to Lt. Mark McLin, the sheriff's office has been investigating reports of distribution at a home in the 100 block of South Maple Street in Huntington.

McLin said deputies got a warrant for the arrest of John Raymond Wilson, 32, on a charge of third-degree delivery of a controlled substance on Monday.

Records show Wilson was booked into the Angelina County Jail on Tuesday.

McLin said Wilson had meth on him when they arrested him and was also charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
