LIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) - A Diboll man accepted a plea bargain deal of 10 years of deferred adjudication for having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old Polk County girl.
As part of the plea deal that was entered on Feb. 3, Cesar Reyes pleaded guilty to first-degree felony continuous sexual assault of a child. Deferred adjudication is similar to probation.
According to a report from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the office received a report on Sept. 8, 2014 from a caller that her child told her she was in a sexual relationship with Cesar Reyes, 23.
In a forensic interview at Childrenz Haven, the child said she had sex with Reyes "numerous" times within the past year.
Reyes was arrested on a charge of first-degree continuous sexual abuse of a child in Angelina County on Sept. 15, 2014.
