LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Officers with the Lufkin Police Department arrested a 28-year-old woman Saturday night after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend after trying several times to run him over.
Timethia Williams is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a first-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
According to the Lufkin Police Department's daily activity report, the incident occurred at about 9:43 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Moore Avenue.
Police say Williams tried repeatedly to run over her boyfriend in her white GMC Yukon SUV. After multiple attempts, authorities say Williams jumped out of the vehicle and charged at her boyfriend with a knife, stabbing him in the arm.
According to police, that's when the boyfriend attempted to drive off in the SUV, but not before Williams threw a brick, smashing one of the vehicle's windows.
A collective bond of $12,000 has been set.
