LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The curtain will raise on the newest production being put on by Angelina College theater department, "Epic Proportions."
David Crane, the creator of the hit show "Friends," and Larry Coen wrote the play.
Epic Proportions is set in the 1930s and tells the story of two brothers who travel to be extras in an epic biblical movie, and from there things get really interesting.
"By the end of the play, the two brothers who are extras roles change in the biblical movie," said Andrew Reed, the instructor of theater at Angelina College said. "One ends up directing, and one is staring in the show. It's fun play for the entire family."
Curtains open for "Epic Proportions" this Thursday at the Temple Theater and curtain call is on Saturday. The play starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for Adults and $4 for seniors, students, and children.
