The deadline to file your Federal Income Taxes is coming up soon, but many East Texans are still not finished with their returns.
SFA accounting students lent a helping hand Thursday to several people who still haven't filed. The students were there to help low to moderate income families prepare their tax information to be mailed off to the IRS.
Dennon Butler, an accounting student said, "it helps those who maybe can't afford professional services, we can actually help them out. Make sure they get all the credits and deductions they deserve."
If you missed Thursday's tax preparation help from the students, there is another session coming up. It's going to be held next Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
