NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 57-year-old man on a first-degree felony meth charge late Tuesday night after a search of his home allegedly turned up “a large quantity of methamphetamine.”

Robin Lovion Riggs, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams charge. No bail amount has been set at this time.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, NCSO deputies received a tip that Riggs was using and selling meth from his home, which is located in the 8000 block of North Street. After an ongoing investigation into the selling and distribution of drugs from the residence, NCSO deputies made contact with Riggs and got permission to search his home.

The search revealed three plastic baggies of crystal meth along with other drug paraphernalia, the press released stated. The press release also stated that the NCSO deputies seized 1 ounce of meth from the home.

Riggs was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
