HOUSTON, TX (KTRE) - The Detroit Pistons have successfully voided their trade Monday with the Houston Rockets, according to Yahoo Sports.
The Pistons decided to void their trade after the franchise determined Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas would not be able to pass the physical because of the condition of his back.
Motiejunas and guard Marcus Thornton will return to Houston, while Joel Anthony will go back to Detroit. The Pistons will also keep their first-round pick that they originally gave Houston in the trade.
Motiejunas had surgery last March to repair a herniated disk. The forward played just 14 games in December before the soreness returned.
