LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - There are three pups looking for a fur-ever family. These aren't your typical pups either, they are actually survivors.

Lillie bear, Marty and Ranger are three poodle cocker spaniel mixes.

"The family unfortunately lost their house hold to a fire and when they moved they were unable to keep them any longer," Mike Stephens, the executive director at Winnie Berry Humane society said. "They brought them to us so we can try to find a good home for them."

Now these pups are ready for a new chapter.

Mommy bear, who goes by Lillie bear, is always ready to play despite having a slight disability.

"Lillie bear is actually blind in one eye, which don't slow her down any," Stephens said.

As for her son Ranger, he'll keep you on your feet, and always is up for a good chase.

Dad Marty, is a cuddlier and playful.

"They're kind of a mix in between," Stephens said. "They do like to get out and play some, but they like to have some attention."

If you're looking for a loving and friendly companion then one of these three will surely fit. Although they were raised together they can be adopted separately for $40.00.

The price for these pups are special because of their unique story, which includes their spraying, neutering, all of their shots and their microchipping.

Each one of these pup survivors are ready to love on you fur-ever!

Since their story aired Marty, who was the dad of the bunch, has found a loving home.

Lillie Bear and Son Ranger are still awaiting for a family.
