LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

If your pet is due for shots then you don’t want to miss this.

The Winnie Berry Humane Society in Lufkin will be offering a drive through rabies clinic.

Here’s how it works, owners can purchase vouchers and redeem them at participating veterinarian offices by appointment.

Vouchers include rabies shots, vaccinations and microchips at a reduced price. Owners have the option of purchase any of these services separately.

“It’s at a greatly reduced rate, so you are saving money,” Mike Stephens, the executive director at Winnie Berry Humane society said.  “The other thing is you do not have to bring your pets up here, actually do not bring your pets up here because it is a voucher sale.”

The walk in voucher sale starts Monday on March 7th through Friday March 11.

The drive in sale is on Saturday, March 12th.
