NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The 2nd annual Nacogdoches Music Festival continues Friday night with a full night of music.

Bands and individuals from every music genre will perform. "Happy-hour" concerts are free.

Committee chair Kati Kennedy said online ticket sales are still coming in at The Liberty Bell.

"If they get them online, it will save them a little bit of time at the door,” Kennedy said. “They'll get an email. They can just show us their phone with their email. We scan it at the door, slap a wrist band on and they go, but if they are more comfortable paying here in person they can do that too."

Tickets are $35 for a pass to all performances through Saturday. Sets start at 7:15 p.m. and go all the way up to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the Nacogdoches Music Festival Website.

Bands performing Friday are:

Devin Baize and Parker Riley - 5:30 P.M @ The Liberty Bell (Free Concert)

Thomas and Hall - 5:30 P.M. @ Mast Hall (Free Concert)

When Cody Pope and the Goodhearts take the stage, they will do so with a familiar crowd. Pope went to school at SFA and started his music career in the Nacogdoches venues.

"It's a really satisfying feeling coming back to a town I enjoyed while I was here," Pope said. "It is such as gorgeous place. it's a place I have spent thousands of hours playing music so it has come full circle you know."

The Goodhearts will also play on Saturday.
