HOUSTON, TX (KTRE) - According to several media outlets, Brock Osweiler will be playing for the Houston Texans. Osweiler agreed to a four-year $72 million deal.
The Super Bowl Champion was the backup quarterback behind Peyton Manning for the Denver Broncos the past four seasons. Osweiler relieved Manning starting in Week 10 last season and went 5-2, threw 1,967 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Osweiler could potentially be the 13th starting quarterback in Texans history. The 25-year-old will look to bring more security to the Texans offense that went through four different quarterbacks last season alone.
Running back Lamar Miller has also signed with the Texans today. According to ESPN the two parties agreed to a four-year $26 million deal. Miller is guaranteed $14 million.
