JASPER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Two people have died in a two-vehicle accident that occurred on State Highway 63 in Jasper County Thursday morning.

John Neyland, 51, of Jasper, died at the scene. Jerry Herrin, 38, died at a Jasper hospital.

According to the DPS report, Jeffery Kiser, 23, of Jasper, was driving a Toyota pickup northbound on Highway 63, just west of Recreational Road 255,  at 8:40 a.m. when he crossed the center line and struck a Ford pickup, driven by Neyland.
